As a registered charity, Play Resource collects waste materials from industry and commerce…..Then recycles it into a free source of play, arts, and creativity for children and young people.
We have over 25 years of experience of recycling waste materials from factories, shops, offices and warehouses across the region.
The waste materials collected provide a free, safe and stimulating source of arts, play and education in thousands of schools, playgroups, after schools clubs, youth clubs, nurseries, family centres, special needs groups and many other types of children’s groups and organisations. Play Resource makes sure these materials reach over 2,500 children’s groups and youth organisations throughout Northern Ireland.

Contact our Resources Supervisor to conduct an informal waste assessment and arrange a convenient collection. Put your waste materials to good use… Don’t throw it away – Give it to Play!
Types of non-toxic waste welcomed include:
Paper & card; packaging; containers, off cuts & scraps; fabric; threads; plastics; bottles, tiles and wallpaper. In fact anything non-toxic you can imagine will be of use!
