New Developments at Play Resource include the launch of the Ideas Gallery and extended opening hours

Back by popular demand and are the Art & Craft demonstrations to take place through-out the year each month in the shop and a new Ideas Gallery has been created on the balcony upstairs at Play Resource, as well as the introduction of extended opening hours from Thursday 7 September. We will be open until 7.00pm every Thursday evening, and open on Friday mornings from 9.30 - 1pm.

September is a busy month for Play Resource launching new additions to what's on offer in response to feedback from members. This is in part thanks to the feedback from members who responded to our recent service development questionnaire sent out in August. Opening hours have been extended on Thursday and Friday.

The balcony upstairs at Play Resource has been transformed into the 'Ideas Gallery' The shop team have been busy creating a display using scrap from the warehouse and art & craft materials on sale in the shop to give you some ideas and inspiration that you can perhaps use with your groups and in your work! Most of the shop team do not have any formal art training but found an outlet for their creativity using a range of waste and products from the shop.

Also available are a range of craft sheets and a library of craft magazines for reference. So spare 10 minutes, to visit upstairs, grab a cup of coffee up there and see what inspires you! The shop team will be more than happy to answer questions about anything on display.
