Welcome to Play Resource

Welcome to Play Resource…the centre for arts, play and education! We provide our members with a unique package of resources and materials, advice, ideas and training for people working with children, young people and community groups.

We aim to promote creative play and encourage environmental responsibility, by collecting non-toxic waste materials from industry and providing them, together with other low cost play and art resources, to groups working with children and young people throughout Northern Ireland.

Play Resource is the largest creative resource centre of its kind in the UK, with Membership open to any group working with children and young people.

Scrap Store
Looking for inspiration has never been more fun than in our warehouse of scrap materials. There is a huge array of exciting materials available for you to collect in the Scrap Store for free to use for arts, play and educational projects.

Arts Programme
Our Creative Paths Arts Programme has been designed to increase children and young people’s participation in the arts and play and to give children and young people throughout Northern Ireland opportunities to engage in high quality creative experiences that promote learning and development.

Our Art & Craft Shop
Our Art & Craft Shop is open Mon-Wed 9.30am to 5.00pm, Thursday 10am to 7pm and Friday 9.30am to 1pm. As a not-for-profit shop we ensure we pass on real savings to our members.
