Arts Workshops
We run an exciting programme of Arts Workshops, especially around times of the year when members are often most under pressure to come up with Ideas & Inspiration, particularly summer and Christmas. These Arts Workshops provide access to trained artists, fresh ideas and new skills to enhance arts, crafts and creative play activities with groups of children and young people of all ages. They always include a good range of scrap and shop products.
The Arts Workshops will bring new skills to work with your group and will suit you whether you are:
- A trained teacher, youth or play worker looking to build on existing skills
- A volunteer with an after-school club
- Keen to help keep teenagers entertained at your local youth club
- Trying to find new ideas for the children in your group
- An individual interested in trying out new art & craft skills
- A care worker with the elderly.
Workshops are booked by participants on a first come first served basis. We suggest you book well in advance to avoid disappointment as many of the workshops fill up quickly.

On Saturday 8 May Play Resource will be offering a diverse range of cost effective Arts Workshops with a summer focus incorporating Ideas & Inspiration for working with children and young people, including both scrap materials and shop products.
Date & Time: Saturday 8 May, 10am – 3.30pm
Venue: Training Room, Play Resource
Cost: £5 per workshop, if you book 3 get 4th session free.
Open to: members only, suitable for adults.
Booking: in advance is required for any workshop session.
